July Writers Workshop with Susie Baxter
Author and teacher Susie Baxter led a powerful and insightful workshop on historical and memoir writing with accuracy. Participants explored how to transform personal experiences into engaging narratives using prompts, exercises, and practical tools. Susie emphasized the importance of writing with emotional honesty and using photos, letters, and memorabilia to enrich storytelling. Attendees learned how to structure their memoirs, deepen their voice, and keep readers turning the pages. The workshop also addressed common questions about memory gaps, dialogue, feedback, and the publishing process. Writers left inspired and equipped to tell their stories with clarity, authenticity, and purpose. Visit Susie’s Website: https://susiehbaxter.com/
