September is going to be a very busy month for most of us. With all the worries we have with the upcoming hurricane season we have to be ready for there are lots and lots of different books and authors events. We will not be having a writers workshop this month. The organization will be having a member’s retreat at the lovely St. Augustine, Florida beach house. We will be posting pictures from the event and may even “GO LIVE”. The members have worked hard all year contributing to our anthologies, learning new skills and volunteering their time and talents to our organization.

NERCC – National Excellence in Romance Cover Contest
The First annual – NERCC is well on it’s way. We have collected all the contestants in August and now Voting for the covers will begin on September 15, 2024.
The first-round voting will take place from September 15-30. Reader judges will be able to choose one cover as their top pick in each of the five categories. On a desktop or laptop the covers will be displayed in a grid or on a phone in a single column.
